Word of the Day
jamys̆ɔ
proof
Base Function:
verb, noun
Definition:
/jamɯʃɔ/
Test, test, performance or knowledge assessment.
Etymology:
-
Weared form of ja- (evaluation) + mȳh (think) + s̆ɔ (flow/externalization).
-
Cultural Note: The disappearance of the "h" and the long tone symbolizes that, in the test, the thought should no longer be an "internal buzz", but rather something that flows quickly outward.
Example:
- Kanȳh čɔ jamys̆ɔ, mā nẽno wa!
Study for the test, my son!
Synonyms:
- = assessment
